Putzmeister America, Inc. has announced a few key personnel additions to its new Houston, Texas location. Putzmeister has hired Mike Hall as a product manager and Scott Blaise as a parts sales manager.
Most recently working 25 years for Continental Mixers, Hall joins Putzmeister with more than 30 years of industry experience. In his new role, Hall will be responsible for customer service and relations; product design and performance improvements; improving the manufacturing process at the Monterrey, Mexico plant; and establishing an assembly process at the Houston facility.
Putzmeister America, Inc. has announced the addition of Peter Mendel as Putzmeister’s senior vice president and chief operating officer. Mendel will be responsible for Putzmeister’s operational activities, which include Putzmeister America and its subsidiaries Putzmeister Brazil and Putzmeister Mexico. Mendel joins the team with experience and expertise in operations, engineering, manufacturing and quality in industries located in the U.S., Germany and Mexico.
Putzmeister America, Inc. has hired Maximiliano Josef Wagner as general manager at Putzmeister Brazil, a division of Putzmeister America. In his new role, he will manage operational aspects of the business.
ST. LOUIS, MO, July 2—Volunteer members of the Decorative Concrete Council (DCC), St. Louis, MO, traveled to Ken Caryl, CO (Southwest Denver) on May 28-29 to place and finish a decorative concrete slab for the Ken Caryl Veterans Monument. The monument is being built to commemorate veterans as well as those on active duty and in the reserves in all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. The DCC is a specialty council of the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC).
ST. LOUIS, MO, May 28, 2015 – Concrete Industry Management (CIM) students at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), Murphysboro, TN, place concrete in a U-Shaped wall section formed the day before. The placement was part of a research project funded by the ASCC Education, Research and Development Foundation, St. Louis, MO, titled “Evaluation and Examination of ACI 347.3R ‘Guide to Formed Concrete Surfaces’.”
