ACPA University: New Member Benefit

Exciting news! As an added benefit, ACPA members now have access to a personalized learning management system (LMS) through ACPA-U. We’re excited to offer this opportunity to your company!

What is a Learning Management System (LMS)
An LMS is a web-based technology system used for tracking, administering, and assessing specific learning processes – such as ACPA training and certification programs. 

What are the benefits of using the ACPA LMS?

• Greater access to ACPA’s library of resources and training materials
• Maintains ACPA safety training and certification records
• Allows you to track and record each user’s progress in completing training such as boom pump, line pump, placing boom and conveyor training, safety videos, safety bulletins, and more
• The ability to add member company-specific documents and training courses
• Access to third-party training such as OSHA

What does the LMS look like for an ACPA member?
Every ACPA member will have their own unique branch within ACPA University. Once logged in, their branch will look like a personalized website featuring company photos they select. Members will be able to add ACPA resources and training materials from the ACPA course catalog, and then assign these to their users.

Each user will have a unique dashboard that displays the progress of their training, certificates, and certifications.  

Will the ACPA University online training programs replace live operator training?
NO! The ACPA remains committed to its Authorized Training Administrator (ATA) and safety training seminar programs. Online training simply offers convenience for those who may not have access to live presentations.
