Putzmeister Hires Carlos Cordeiro as Northwest Sales Representative

Putzmeister America, Inc. has hired Carlos Cordeiro as Northwest regional sales representative. Cordeiro specializes in selling concrete pumps and will serve Canadian customers in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan, as well as U.S. customers in Washington, Idaho, Montana and Oregon.

Putzmeister America, Inc. Reorganizes Sales Team For 2018

Putzmeister America, Inc. has established a sales management team consisting of four regional sales directors (RSD) managing four regions in the U.S. and three in Canada. With the reorganization of the sales force, Putzmeister America will continue to provide the best customer satisfaction with dedicated teams, faster response times and hands-on support that is closer to the customer.

The Putzmeister sales management team will be divided into South, North, West and East regions. Leadership and personnel will include:

Putzmeister America, Inc. has promoted Greg Giese to manager – technical service and warranty administration. In his new role, Giese will be responsible for leading Putzmeister’s ongoing service excellence initiatives and driving continuous improvement.

CPE America Hires Tony Inglese as Vice President of Operations

Sebastian Falzon, president and CEO of CPE America is pleased to announce that Tony Inglese has joined the team as vice president of operations. Tony has more than 15 years of experience in the concrete pumping industry, with proven leadership in management, production and operations processes.

Prior to joining CPE America, Tony served as CEO for Concrete Pump Supply and was concrete pumping program manager for NBIS. Tony has served on the American Concrete Pumping Association board of directors for the last six years.

Conco Wins ACI Award

ACPA member The Conco Companies, Concord, California, was awarded second place in the High Rise Buildings category of ACI’s Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards at ACI’s Fall Convention held October, 2017 in Anaheim, California. This was quite an honor, as there were only 12 winners from around the world. The award-wining project was Premiere on Pine, Seattle, Washington, one of the tallest residential towers in the city. At 440 feet, this 42-story building features 386 apartments, a rooftop sky lounge, five levels of above-grade parking and five levels below.

2 People Injured in Fire That Consumes 22 Units

Silver Spring, MD—Two people – a resident and a firefighter – were treated for non-life-threatening injuries early Friday morning after flames engulfed a three-story, wood-framed condominium complex in Annapolis, Maryland shortly before 1 a.m. The 3-alarm fire, which took 60 firefighters about 90 minutes to contain, displaced dozens of residents as 22 units are now unlivable.

Witnesses describe the flames as “horrible,” as fire crews were forced to rescue several residents during the overnight incident.
