Putzmeister America, Inc. Welcomes Jonathan Dawley as President & CEO

Putzmeister America, Inc. has appointed Jonathan Dawley as the new president and CEO. In his role, Dawley will be responsible for all commercial, financial and operational aspects of Putzmeister business in North America, Latin America and Brazil.

Putzmeister America, Inc. recently re-organized its parts department to allow room for more parts storage onsite. The expansion includes investment in three highly advanced storage and retrieval systems, adding to the two systems purchased in 2005.

Putzmeister America, Inc. Maintains CPMA Safety Certification

Effective February 21, 2018, Putzmeister America, Inc. was successfully re-certified in safety from the Concrete Pump Manufacturers Association (CPMA). Putzmeister’s 30-, 40-, 50-, 60-meter class boom pumps, placing booms, BSA Large Line trailer pumps and Thom-Katt® trailer pumps have been awarded compliance by the CPMA.

Quist Moves to Schwing Field Service

Longtime Schwing employee Carl Quist has transitioned to a field service technician position serving the Midwest. He has served in multiple roles at the company since starting in 1989, when he was a mechanic in main assembly. From there he advanced to lead/ coordinator positions in assembly before joining the engineering team as an electrical designer in 2002.

Putzmeister America, Inc. Offers New Experts App

Putzmeister America, Inc. has released a new app to make every customer an expert. The “Putzmeister Experts” app will provide customers with helpful videos and instructions for the company’s products.

In-depth knowledge on the functions of machines, guides for proper setup and operation, tips for maintenance and troubleshooting and information about accessories are all topics covered by the app.

Autocar Cuts Ribbon on Birmingham Manufacturing Plant

Autocar hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new manufacturing plant in Center Point, Alabama on April 19, 2018. Governor Kay Ivey, Jefferson County commissioner Joe Knight and Center Point mayor Tom Henderson were in attendance at the event, along with Autocar chairman Andrew Taitz and president Jim Johnston.

Putzmeister America, Inc. Hires Justin Fagan as Director of Product Management

Putzmeister America, Inc. has hired Justin Fagan as director of product management. In this role, Justin will focus on leveraging his skills and experiences in strategy development, product management and aftermarket services to support Putzmeister’s key initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Fagan joins Putzmeister after eight years with Komatsu Mining Corporation, where he held increasingly responsible positions in product management and aftermarket services. He began his career by serving in the U.S. Army as an infantry leader.
