Schwing has announced its 2016 service seminar schedule, offering more choices to appeal to a wider audience of concrete pumping professionals. In addition to Level 2 for mechanics and Level 3 for advanced mechanics, the company will offer an SP school, focusing on the stationary pump line. The seminars are held at Schwing’s dedicated training facility in White Bear, Minnesota, and include multi-media training aids and handson troubleshooting.

In August 2015, Putzmeister Mexico, a division of Putzmeister America, Inc., celebrated the opening of its new concrete transit mixer factory in Monterrey, Mexico, with an open house for customers, distributors, vendors and employees. Construction Forms Inc. has announced the hiring of Stefan Harbig as the new CEO of Esser-Werke GmbH in Warstein, Germany. Harbig joins Esser from Richter Chemie-Technik GmbH, where he was managing director. Harbig brings with him 20 years of engineering, sales and commercial leadership skills, along with his master’s degree in industrial engineering.

In his new role, Wright oversees a group of engineers and is responsible for the product planning, engineering and improvements of the truck-mounted line of concrete pumping equipment.
