Putzmeister Mexico, a division of Putzmeister America, Inc., has hired Fermin Oviedo as sales coordinator. In the role, he will be responsible for coordinating orders between the sales department and production plant, coordinating and receiving chassis for production, and communicating directly with customers on their orders.
Brundage-Bone Concrete Pumping, Inc., a leading provider of concrete pumping services in the U.S., announced today that it has completed three strategic acquisitions that will expand the company’s presence in the southeastern U.S. The company has acquired Action Concrete Pumping, Inc., which is based in Greenville, South Carolina, and has operations in Knoxville, Tennessee; Birmingham, Alabama; and Augusta, Georgia.
At more than 3,281 feet, the Kingdom Tower in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia will be the tallest building in the world upon its scheduled completion in 2020. The observation deck, which offers a breathtaking view over the kingdom at a height of 2,067 feet, will break another world record.
Two documents from the American Society of Concrete Contractors, the Safety Manual and the Safety Management Plan, have been newly revised and updated to reflect changes in OSHA regulations and the concrete construction industry. These programs were written by concrete contractors, for concrete contractors, with the goal of helping the industry as a whole. Both were written and revised by ASCC’s Safety & Risk Management Council (SRMC).
