The pumper must take the offense in his or her approach. Designing strategies to retain existing customers and winning those that need to work with us should be a constant drive. An assertive pumper always works to create new business.

According to conventional political wisdom in Washington, major legislation has to be passed by Congress and signed by the President in an odd-numbered year, before the campaign-driven politics of even-numbered years shuts down the congressional sausage grinder. The most recent notable exception—the Affordable Care Act, which was signed by President Obama on March 23, 2010—essentially proves the rule. Democrats lost their majorities in the U.S. House and Senate the following November, and the public backlash over Obamacare played a significant role in the electoral debacle.

The ACPA is dedicated to the education and promotion of concrete pump safety to the concrete pumping industry and for all those who come into contact with a concrete pump on a construction job. We're here to teach you how you, and others around you, can stay safer on the job.
Our instructors have over 50 years of combined concrete pumping experience.
Safety standards within the construction industry have changed dramatically since the introduction of the ACPA Operator Certification Program in 1986. While considerable improvements have been implemented over the years, current ASME requirements for material placing systems and trends in the U.S., as well as global, regulatory mandates now create a need for us to re-evaluate our current safety certification and training model.
