This bill, which represents the first true legislative achievement of the Trump era, is likely to contribute to a significant increase in U.S. economic growth during 2018, and contains many construction industry policy priorities advocated by ACPA as part of the North American Concrete Alliance, including expanded equipment expensing and the continuation of private activity bonds to support major capital projects.

Inspection Programs

The importance of a comprehensive inspection program cannot be understated. Regular inspections of your equipment not only help prevent untimely breakdowns and loss of revenue, but can also reveal issues which could lead to a large incident and costly insurance claim.

Annapolis, Maryland, Condo Complex Burns the Morning After Thanksgiving

2 People Injured in Fire That Consumes 22 Units

Silver Spring, MD—Two people – a resident and a firefighter – were treated for non-life-threatening injuries early Friday morning after flames engulfed a three-story, wood-framed condominium complex in Annapolis, Maryland shortly before 1 a.m. The 3-alarm fire, which took 60 firefighters about 90 minutes to contain, displaced dozens of residents as 22 units are now unlivable.

Witnesses describe the flames as “horrible,” as fire crews were forced to rescue several residents during the overnight incident.
