The American Concrete Pumping Association is proud to announce Leighton Landreth, Dominick Willman and Shelby Willy as co-recipients of this year’s Bob Weatherton Scholarships. These inspiring students represent the same leadership and spirit exemplified by the late “Big Bob” Weatherton of The Concrete Pump Store in California. Bob served on the ACPA Board of Directors for more than 40 years and is remembered as one of the industry’s most avid champions.

Sadly, our industry lost one its true pioneers with the passing of Bill Cross of Cross Enterprises. Cross Concrete Pumping was one of the founding members of the ACPA with Bill serving on the ACPA Board of Directors and as President on the ACPA Executive Board. In 1994, Bill and his brother, Charles, each received ACPA Pioneer Awards. On a personal note, I will always remember Bill for his kind words of encouragement when I became the ACPA Executive Director many years ago.
