Adam Wallace Returns as Schwing Truck Mixer Regional Manager

Adam Wallace has returned to Schwing as west/central regional sales manager. Wallace originally joined Schwing in 2006 after graduating college and worked in ready mix equipment sales for the company. “It is with great pleasure that I return to a first class company that is also an industry leader,” according to Wallace.

Putzmeister America, Inc. Names Jorge Reza West Coast Parts Sales Manager

Putzmeister America, Inc. has named longtime employee Jorge Reza its West Coast parts sales manager, responsible for working with customers in that region to fulfill their parts needs, as well as maintaining inventory at the company’s West Coast facility.

Reza started his career at Putzmeister in the paint department in 1999, transferring to the customer support group five years later. He most recently worked as Putzmeister’s new business manager for South and Central America. Prior to that he was the Latin America after sales parts and service manager.

Air Pumped Sand & Gravel Changes Name to “Air Pump USA”

Air Pump USA, a construction and landscape industry service provider that places aggregates, sands and soil blends into hard-to-reach places, has announced the launch of its new brand, website and centralized location. Formerly known as Air Pumped Sand & Gravel, the name change, new brand identity and recent relocation of its headquarters to Gardena, California (from Mission Viejo), reflects the company’s desire to better serve the growing Southern California construction market and prepare for growth into other regions of the country.

Mack Introduces Mobile App to Increase Uptime Efficiency

ASCC Presents 2016 Scholarships

ST. LOUIS, MO – The American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) Education, Research and Development Foundation has awarded a scholarship to Daniel Greene, a student in the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program at Middle Tennessee State University, Murpheesboro, TN. Greene received $5,000.

To qualify for the scholarship, a student must be enrolled full time in the CIM program and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.

The ASCC Foundation was created in 1989 to fund education and research that advances the quality and productivity of concrete construction.

ST. LOUIS, MO – Concrete contractors with exemplary safety records for 2015 were recognized by the Safety & Risk Management Council (SRMC) of the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC), St. Louis, Mo., at the association’s Annual Conference in Minneapolis, MN on September 15.

Concrete Polishing Council Added to ASCC

ST. LOUIS, MO – Bev Garnant, executive director of the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC), St. Louis, announced today that the Concrete Polishing Association of America, (CPAA) will merge with ASCC.  CPAA will become the Concrete Polishing Council, a specialty council of ASCC.  ASCC has three other councils: the Decorative Concrete Council, the Safety & Risk Management Council, and the Manufacturer’s Advisory Council.
