Putzmeister America Names Holger Thiel Director of Operations for its Concrete Transit Mixer Division

Putzmeister America, Inc. has named Holger Thiel director of operations for the company’s concrete transit mixer division. In the role, he will ensure high quality and production standards in all manufacturing facilities, and work to continually enhance the mixers in conjunction with the engineering and sales teams.

Thiel most recently held the position of director of lean manufacturing for Putzmeister America. Prior to that, for 15 years he worked for Putzmeister Concrete Pumps in Germany. He held numerous positions at the company, including roles in production control and development, plant management, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

“Holger’s experience lends itself perfectly to this role,” said Peter Mendel, Putzmeister America’s president and CEO. “Not only does he have mixer experience specifically, but he also has extensive experience in product development and process improvement, which is essential as we work to enhance our concrete transit mixer line.”
