ST. LOUIS, MO – Chris Plue, Webcor Concrete, San Francisco, CA, has been elected president of the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC), St. Louis, MO for 2017-2018.  Anthony DeCarlo, Cincinnati, OH; Chris Forster, Tustin, CA; Mario Garza, Southville, MI, were re-elected vice-presidents and Rocky Geans, Mishawaka, IN, was elected as a vice-president. Keith Wayne, Kannapolis, NC, was re-elected treasurer.  Tim Manherz, Houston, TX, was elected as a director and Bill Bramscreiber, Glendora, CA and Steve Lloyd, Rustburg, VA, were re-elected directors. 

LAS VEGAS (Jan. 17, 2017) – Mack Trucks introduced today Mack^®mDRIVE^™ rolling start and auto neutral, two new features designed to improve the jobsite performance and safety of trucks equipped with Mack’s mDRIVE and mDRIVE HD automated manual transmissions. Both features are standard on all Mack mDRIVE and mDRIVE HD transmissions. Mack made the announcement at World of Concrete 2017 in Las Vegas.

Schwing has announced its 2017 service seminar schedule, offering more choices to appeal to a wider audience of concrete pumping professionals. In addition to intermediate training for operators/mechanics and advanced training for mechanics, the company will offer an SP school focusing on the stationary pump line. The seminars are held at Schwing’s dedicated training facility in White Bear, Minnesota, and include multi-media training aids and hands-on troubleshooting. Students also receive a service manual on CDROM, along with a printed copy of the training manual.

With over 25 years’ experience in the concrete pumping industry, Bill will support Concrete Pump Supply products for all applications.
