Schwing has announced its 2016 service seminar schedule, offering more choices to appeal to a wider audience of concrete pumping professionals. In addition to Level 2 for mechanics and Level 3 for advanced mechanics, the company will offer an SP school, focusing on the stationary pump line. The seminars are held at Schwing’s dedicated training facility in White Bear, Minnesota, and include multi-media training aids and handson troubleshooting.
Two documents from the American Society of Concrete Contractors, the Safety Manual and the Safety Management Plan, have been newly revised and updated to reflect changes in OSHA regulations and the concrete construction industry. These programs were written by concrete contractors, for concrete contractors, with the goal of helping the industry as a whole. Both were written and revised by ASCC’s Safety & Risk Management Council (SRMC).

Harbig joins Esser from Richter Chemie-Technik GmbH, where he was managing director. Harbig brings with him 20 years of engineering, sales and commercial leadership skills, along with his master’s degree in industrial engineering.
