Phil Bailey Named CPR Remarketing Sales Representative

Phil Bailey replaces Carrie Swanson as the new Concrete Pump Repair (CPR) remarketing sales representative. Bailey is a 13-year employee who has worked in various capacities, including parts and sales. “Phil knows many of the customers he will be working with in pre-owned sales,” according to Jerry Anderson, Schwing vice president / GM of remarketing. “He really knows Schwing pumps, which is a huge advantage when recommending a used unit or refurbishing a customer pump.”

Carrie Swanson, a 28-year employee of CPR, a Schwing company, is retiring from the refurbishing and pre-owned arm of Schwing America. Carrie was hired as a part-time employee and transitioned into a full-time sales person of pre-owned units. “She was the driving force of CPR for 28 years,” states Anderson.

Swanson worked at the company’s North Branch, Minnesota facility, thirty miles north of the Schwing factory, for much of her CPR career. In addition to interacting with customers, she administered the company’s website (concretepumps.com) pre-owned inventory and helped the company grow. “My favorite part of the job was watching a young, first-time pumper start out with a CPR pump and grow to become a Schwing new pump owner over time,” she says. “Near the end, I was dealing with that same pumper’s children who grew into the business.”

CPR repairs, repaints, retrucks and refurbishes all brands of concrete pumps, in addition to selling pre-owned units. Swanson adds, “I was always very proud of the CPR product, which emphasized safety, proper maintenance and customer service.”
