Putzmeister America, Inc. Names Rico Heinz Director of Production

Putzmeister America, Inc. has named Rico Heinz director of production, responsible for restructuring the company’s manufacturing process to improve efficiency on all of its production lines. As a result of Putzmeister’s production increasing dramatically over the past few years, the company is looking to Heinz to help ensure it continues to meet customer demands efficiently without compromising the proven quality of its products.

Heinz began his career in engineering at Putzmeister in 2003, becoming product manager for the truck-mounted concrete boom pump line in 2006. For the past three years, he has worked to help establish Putzmeister Brazil, first overseeing engineering and operations, and later becoming chief operating officer. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering with focus on heavy machinery.

“We are relying on Rico’s expertise to completely redesign our production organization and processes,” said Dave Adams, Putzmeister’s president and CEO. “With his guidance, we anticipate significant process improvement, increased efficiency and a renewed emphasis on quality control.”
