Putzmeister America, Inc. Hires Stephen Crane as VP and CFO

Putzmeister America, Inc. has hired Stephen Crane as vice president and chief financial officer, heading the finance and information systems operations for the Americas.

With more than 18 years of experience, Crane spent more than 16 years at Johnson Controls, a $44 billion diversified manufacturing and technology leader. He is a fluent Spanish speaker, having held multiple international assignments in Belgium, Germany and Mexico. Past roles include Mexican division controller for a $1 billion automotive seating business, and Latin American division controller for a $1 billion lead acid battery business with operations in Mexico and Brazil.

“Stephen’s leadership abilities and extensive experience in both domestic and international markets will be a great asset to our team,” said Dave Adams, Putzmeister’s president and CEO.

Crane most recently worked at Quad/ Graphics as its chief audit executive, where he headed the internal audit and enterprise risk management functions. He earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from University of Wisconsin—Whitewater and his master’s in business administration from University of Wisconsin—Madison.

Crane will be based out of Putzmeister’s headquarters in Sturtevant, Wisconsin.
