CPMA Welcomes Two New Members

The Concrete Pump Manufacturers Association (CPMA) extends a warm welcome to two new members: Mud Demon MNKOTA and Concrete Pump Supply.

Concrete Pump Supply offers parts to placers, and everything in between (www.concretepumpsupply.com), while Mud Demon MNKOTA (www.mnkotamfg.com/mnkotasales/muddemon) supplies construction equipment-powered concrete pumps.

Mud Demon MNKOTA (Fargo, North Dakoa) and Concrete Pump Supply (Mableton, Georgia) join seventeen existing members of CPMA: Alliance (Aldergrove, British Columbia), CIFA North America (Yorkville, Wisconsin), Construction Forms (Port Washington, Wisconsin), Dae Young Special (Santa Ana, California), DY Concrete Pumps (Alvarado, Texas), Esser Twin Pipes (Warstein, Germany), KCP Concrete Pumps (Langley, British Columbia), Liebherr (Newport News, Virginia), Olin Pumps (Huntington Beach, California), Proline by Putzmeister (Sturtevant, Wisconsin), Putzmeister (Sturtevant, Wisconsin), Reed Manufacturing (Chino, California), SANY (Anoka, Minnesota), SCHWING America (Saint Paul, Minnesota), and Valme-NA (Franksville, Wisconsin).

The CPMA is a collection of concrete pumping industry advocates that focus on the creation of both safety standards specifically written for concrete pumping and the standardization of safety-related features on equipment.

The existing members, as well as the new members understand the importance of being “CPMA certified.”  When you see the CPMA certified decal on your equipment, you can be sure the product meets the industry safety standards set forth by the CPMA and ASME B30.27.

At the latest CPMA meeting, held at the World of Concrete, a new board of directors was elected. The new board includes Clayton White of Alliance, Eric Zimmerman of Valme, Todd Lutz of CIFA, Dave Wright of  SANY, executive director Dave Smith, and new president, Scott Roisum of Schwing America.

The CPMA will continue to look at all facets of concrete placing equipment to ensure safe equipment for our industry.
