Putzmeister America, Inc. appointed Carlos Pineda as a technical trainer for Putzmeister America.
Pineda joins Putzmeister America with a background in technical and virtual training in the automotive and manufacturing industries. His education is in mechanical engineering, and he is trilingual — fluent in English, Spanish and French.
Carlos will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs on both truck-mounted, Telebelt and stationary pumps, as well as other related equipment. He is developing the new Putzmeister e-learning, virtual and remote learning programs that involve both training and testing remotely and at the student’s pace. Carlos will combine PMA’s social media presence in apps such as YouTube and LinkedIn with video production and state-of-the-art video conferencing. These e_ orts will complement Putzmeister’s advanced live in-house learning programs.
“The result of this enhanced program will balance student skill levels, meaning that all students from novice to experienced will enter our classroom with the same knowledge needed to successfully complete their training,” said Pineda. “Ultimately it will shorten classroom times — allowing customers to have more competent employees with less time away from the job.”
