Neil Ford Named Production Manager for Liebherr USA, Co. Concrete Pumps

Liebherr USA, Co. Concrete Technology division has hired Neil Ford to lead the operations department for production of its concrete pumps in the Newport News facility. In his role as production manager, Ford will oversee the planning and coordination activities for concrete pump assembly. Ford will work with division management to establish production and quality control standards and direct the production priorities for Liebherr concrete pumps.

Ford comes to Liebherr with 18 years’ experience in the automotive industry and over 10 years’ experience in process improvement and operations management, with a clear focus on quality control, productivity and problem-solving. Throughout his career, he has held positions as head of plant industrial engineering, high-pressure pump factory manager, new product launch manager for high-pressure fuel injectors and operations manager with his former employer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s in business administration.

His addition to the team comes as part of a continued commitment by Liebherr, investing in the North American market and growing the Liebherr business within the concrete pump industry.
