Schwing Appoints Marketing/Publications Manager

Schwing has created a new title of marketing/publications manager and appointed long-term employee Mark Berggren to the position. Berggren has worked for more than 23 years in Schwing’s publications and training departments. In his roles, he has created manuals, presentations and graphics for the company. He will continue with these responsibilities, as well as managing trade shows, interfacing with media and advertising agencies, managing the company’s website and social media, and overseeing product literature. He takes on the marketing responsibilities formerly handled by Tim Goodroad, a 40-year employee who has retired.

“Mark is the ideal person for this position because of his extensive product knowledge gained from creating operation manuals and training presentations,” explains Tom O’Malley, Schwing’s senior vice president sales and marketing. Berggren will work closely on marketing materials with O’Malley and continue to report to Scott Roisum, director of engineering and quality on technical publications.

Berggren achieved a Bachelor of Science degree from Bemidji State University in 1995.
