Schwing Offers Digital Assets to Pump Owners

Schwing owners of 2016 and newer Schwing boom pumps can now access their parts books online. The online parts catalog assists customers in easily identifying and ordering parts. They simply log into the Schwing/service web page, register, and within a few days a login and password will be provided for unlimited access. The online parts catalog features search tools, zoom capabilities, interactive cursor with highlighted parts lists, downloadable schematics and the ability to save frequently ordered parts.

Every new Schwing boom pump contains a documentation package combining several manuals onto one USB drive. Included are operation manual, parts manual, ACPA safety manuals, along with other technical documentation. The USB drive is Schwingbranded in the shape of a boom pump with a safety chain and trigger clasp. The truck cab is removable to expose the USB interface.

For older boom or stationary pumps, electronic files can be placed on a USB stick and ordered through Schwing Spare Parts. Printed copies of manuals are also available.

“Owners know that pumping can be a 24/7 business, so having these files in digital form can be handy when the print material isn’t available,” explains Tom O’Malley, Schwing senior vice president of sales and marketing. The company recommends a USB for service personnel who may be on call for emergencies in the field.
