Schwing Adds Vector Service Seminar

Operators will have a better understanding of the Schwing Vector Control system after attending the VEC Seminar October 22–23, 2018. “Vector offers so much for operator productivity, machine diagnostics and data for fleet management,” according to Jeff Popa, Schwing service training manager. “Owners will get the most out of this state-of-the-art system after they send their employees to this seminar.” The seminar will also include using Vector for setup and deployment of the company’s EASy one-sided outriggers using Vector controls.

Subjects covered in the two-day seminar held at the White Bear, Minnesota dedicated training center include: basic electrical terminology; reading Vector schematics; component designations; understanding CAN BUS; identifying system sensors; reading e-plan drawings; functions and adjustment of Vector controls; troubleshooting using Vector controls; and hands-on EASy training.

Seminar attendance is limited. Cost is $565 per person. Seminar fees include lunch and transportation between Schwing and the hotel. Attendees can sign up online or call.
