Concrete Pump Supply Announces Growth Strategy

Long-time concrete parts and systems provider Concrete Pump Supply (CPS) is preparing for growth by investing in inventory, people and a new, over 100,000 square foot facility. “It’s about hiring the right people and letting them build the organization,” says Pat Inglese, CEO. “No matter how much product inventory you have, operation systems in place and facility square footage, it wouldn’t work unless you have excellent employees build it.”

“The entire team at CPS has worked hard getting everything in place for this exciting launch, which was really kicked off with our display efforts at this year’s World of Concrete. Behind this new CPS display, is the right products, inventory levels and business systems, as well as our new self-service customer website to ensure we deliver what we say to our customers, in addition to some key new hires,” continued Inglese.

Recently, CPS hired Jon Bammann as sales manager, former general manager of Schwing Small Line Division and product manager of stationary pumps for SANY prior to the acquisition of Putzmeister. In addition to these roles, Bammann has extensive experience in dealer/distribution relations. His primary role at CPS is to capture new business by building and developing a solid outside sales team. “Our goal is simple: to match our customers with the products they need, when they need it, ensuring their job gets done with industry-leading performance. We devote ourselves to this pursuit with every sale,” says Bammann. “I am absolutely thrilled to be back in the concrete pump business and onboard with CPS. It’s an incredible organization and I am honored to be a part of the team.”

The first key new outside sales role was filled in December with the hiring of Linda Williams. Her unrivaled experience in concrete pumping makes her the best choice to handle Florida and the southern portions of the Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi markets. “We want all our customers to know that behind every part, hose and bag of ‘Slick Willie 2’ pump primer is 150+ years of combined concrete pumping experience. Their business will be treated in the highest possible standard. Williams defines this approach,” says Bammann. Williams started in the concrete pumping industry in 1996, selling parts, system and equipment in Florida. In 2002, she was instrumental in running Concrete Pump Supply’s Tampa branch, which housed a full-service shop, parts and equipment sales. Williams continued at CPS Tampa until 2009.

Williams will be based in Tampa and can be reached at (813) 459-6432.
