Putzmeister America, Inc. Introduces Upgrades to Thom-Katt® Line

Putzmeister America, Inc. has announced significant upgrades to its Thom-Katt® Trailer Pump line. The TK 40, TK 50, TK 60 HP and TK 70 are the first models to feature a relocated fuel tank and a new control box with display. The fuel tank relocation will be featured on the single and tandem axle units and will allow for increased ground clearance. The new TKs will be able to go where previous models could not, allowing for better access over rugged or uneven terrain.

The development of the new control box will provide for a more active presentation of pump information, diagnostics and an emergency run mode. This feature allows the operators to make sure their pumps are operating at peak performance; and should a problem arise, the control box will minimize downtime. The new control box is also time-tested and present on current production models delivered from both Putzmeister Germany and Putzmeister Brazil.

“Putzmeister’s TK line upgrades reflect our commitment to continuous innovation in the design and manufacturing of concrete pumping equipment,” said Drew Krivsky, engineering product manager—trailer pump, mortar and shotcrete products for Putzmeister America. “We’re confident that our customers will appreciate the benefits of these two new features.”

Putzmeister’s reliable Thom-Katt line handles the harshest mixes and tackles a variety of difficult applications. As the trademark product line, the TKs will continue to offer easy filling and operation, fast setup, simple cleanup, inexpensive maintenance, smooth pumping and long-term dependability.
