Schwing Staff Changes: Focus on the Future

Schwing America has announced organizational changes to put additional emphasis on research and development of concrete handling technologies. Long-time Schwing employee Tom Eggert will lead this strategic expansion, utilizing his industry experience. “Tom has demonstrated his keen ability to identify customer-focused solutions in his 35-year history with the company,” explains Brian Hazelton, Schwing CEO. “In this newly created position, he will be focused on developing and bringing to market innovative products for the future.”

Succeeding Eggert in his former position of director of quality assurance is new hire Keith Bey. With 15 years of experience at Caterpillar, Bey brings a valuable skill set to the position that requires equipment knowledge and dedication to the highest standards of materials and manufacturing. In his most recent position at Caterpillar Paving Products, Osseo, Minnesota, Bey successfully implemented the Cat Product System, which requires attention to detail in all areas of equipment manufacturing. Prior to his Caterpillar experience, Bey was a quality engineer for Crenlo, Rochester, Minnesota, a leading manufacturer of operator cabs and roll over protective structures (ROPS) in North America. He holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial technology from the University of Wisconsin. Bey is married with two daughters.

“These staff changes will further Schwing’s leadership position in technology and innovation,” stated Hazelton. “We are thrilled to leverage Tom Eggert’s skills and experience in this key role, while continuing our commitment to the industry’s most reliable products and ongoing focus on quality with Keith Bey on our team.”
