Putzmeister America, Inc.’s Stephen Crane Adds Responsibilities as President and CEO of Putzmeister Brazil

Putzmeister America, Inc.’s vice president and CFO, Stephen Crane, has been named president and CEO of Putzmeister Brazil, in conjunction with his current responsibili heading the finance and information systems operations for the Americas.

As president and CEO of Putzmeister Brazil, Crane will maintain overall responsibility for the strategy and performance of Putzmeister’s rapidly expanding operation in Brazil.

“Putzmeister is the market leader for concrete pumps throughout Latin America, and we are on track to achieve our objective of market leader in Brazil as well,” said Dave Adams, Putzmeister America’s president and CEO. “We’re confident Stephen’s strong leadership abilities and extensive experience in international markets will help us reach that goal.”

Crane has more than 18 years of industry experience and is a fluent Spanish speaker who has held multiple international assignments with previous employers in Belgium, Germany and Mexico. He spent more than 16 years at Johnson Controls, a $44 billion diversified manufacturing and technology leader. Past roles include Mexican division controller for a $1 billion automotive seating business, and Latin American division controller for a $1 billion lead acid battery business with operations in Mexico and Brazil.

Crane will split his time between Putzmeister America’s headquarters in Sturtevant, Wisconsin and Putzmeister Brazil’s headquarters in São Paulo.
