Schwing Owner Stars in Ford Truck Commercial

Schwing America is pleased to announce Schwing pump owner and concrete contractor, Sean King, owner of King Construction, New Orleans, Louisiana, has played a major role in a Ford SuperDuty truck commercial. Mr. King received an offer to appear in the online Ford video after another contractor bowed out. “They wanted a contractor who did a lot of towing and owned Ford trucks,” according to King. He owns ten Ford trucks and an SP 305 Schwing concrete pump.

Mike Rowe of the reality show “Dirty Jobs” and a spokesperson for Ford Motor Company interviews King in the commercial as he is preparing to pour a replacement foundation to shore up a home in New Orleans. King’s SP 305 concrete pump is shown at the work site and at the company’s headquarters. “We are pumping sometimes six to seven days per week and up to three pours a day,” according to King. He adds, “That pump gets the job done for us. We do a lot of shoring work with three-quarter inch minus concrete that we pump in 20 to 40 yard pours.”

King Construction is a customer of Schwing dealer SMECO in Kenner, Louisiana. “A friend of mine bought a Schwing from the folks at SMECO and they had real good service. That helped me make the decision to buy the SP 305,” King reports. See the Sean King video by clicking here.
