Schwing Hires Purchasing Manager

Schwing America has hired a new purchasing manager to oversee the acquisition of materials and goods for their manufacturing process. Mike Rudolph brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position. “It takes a steady supply of raw materials, components and hardware to keep up with the demand for Schwing equipment,” stated Heinz Wortman, Schwing America’s chief operations and logistics officer. “Mike’s experience and knowledge will assist in the future growth of our manufacturing operation.”

Rudolph’s experience includes past employment with Andersen Windows, Viracon/ Apogee and SPX Corporation/OTC Division. He has demonstrated success in negotiation of supply agreements, commodity management and supplier relationships. Rudolph holds a degree in business administration from Winona State University and an MBA from St. Thomas College. In addition, he is APICS certified (American Production and Inventory Control Society) and CPM Certified (Certified Purchasing Manager).
