At the ACPA Annual Meeting, the ACPA held elections for the Executive Board. The meeting convened June 9, 2021, in conjunction with World of Concrete 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The newly elected Executive Board will serve a one-year term.

With more than 650 exhibitors covering approximately 300,000 net square feet of exhibit space, World of Concrete 2021 wrapped up on June 10 as a great success.
The first large-scale event in Las Vegas and the U.S. since the COVID-19 pandemic, World of Concrete 2021 was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and marked a significant milestone for the country’s emergence to business as usual. The American Concrete Pumping Association was proud to be part of the show, just as it has for the past 47 years.
Partnering with the American Concrete Pumping Association (ACPA) and the Insulating Concrete Forms Manufacturing Association (ICFMA), the Build with Strength Coalition is again working on an innovative residential project for Habitat for Humanity.
As the magazine goes to press, Washington enters yet another “Infrastructure Week.” Yes, another, but this time is different. The Senate and the White House negotiated the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework, the Senate voted repeatedly to consider the legislation to implement the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework, and we now await their action of the legislative language. The House of Representatives passed the INVEST Act last month. The House bill is similar in size and scope to the Senate Bipartisan approach, but takes a different approach on a number of programs.
