In Memoriam: Dan Weatherton 1956-2012

Dan Weatherton, former employee of Construction Forms, Inc. and son of “Big” Bob Weatherton, passed away suddenly on March 12, 2012.

Dan was born June 15, 1956 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania and moved to California with his parents at a young age. Dan attended Condit School, Claremont High School and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of LaVerne. Dan worked in the construction machinery industry for many years and was preparing to move to a new position in the oil field industry in Houston, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Ursula; his son Kirk, who attends the University of Cal Poly, Pomona; daughter Kelsey, who attends the University of Honolulu, Hawaii; a brother, Tim; and his father Bob and his wife, Jane Goodfellow.

Dan enjoyed handball, working out, traveling and spending time at home with his family. He was very proud of his children and maintained close contact with them even though they were away at college. He had many friends in the community and the industry and will be missed by all.

Dan is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Weatherton, who assuredly was there to greet him when he arrived in heaven.
