Dave Adams

With great sadness and heavy hearts, we share the passing of Dave Adams, former President and CEO of Putzmeister and former ACPA Board Member, on Sunday, May 25, 2025. 

“Dave began his career at Putzmeister as the VP of Engineering in 1996 and was later promoted to President and CEO in 2000, where he continued his leadership for the next 16 years. The company achieved strong year-over-year growth during his tenure. Dave was beloved by employees, colleagues, and customers alike worldwide.  

Dave’s infectious energy and positivity made him an outstanding ambassador for Putzmeister as he continued to attend industry-related meetings and events in post-retirement. “– Putzmeister America 

In 2021, Dave was honored with the ACPA Lifetime Achievement award for his outstanding and dedicated service to the association and the industry. In his acceptance speech, Dave pledged to continue attending ACPA events and contribute wherever needed - a commitment he upheld for many years. His legacy of service will forever inspire us.
