ACPA Exhibits at 47th World of Concrete

With more than 650 exhibitors covering approximately 300,000 net square feet of exhibit space, World of Concrete 2021 wrapped up on June 10 as a great success.

The first large-scale event in Las Vegas and the U.S. since the COVID-19 pandemic, World of Concrete 2021 was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and marked a significant milestone for the country’s emergence to business as usual. The American Concrete Pumping Association was proud to be part of the show, just as it has for the past 47 years.

ACPA Hosts First ATA Training Workshop

On June 7, the day before the opening of the World of Concrete trade show, the American Concrete Pumping Association hosted its first-ever Train the Trainer workshop. Train the Trainer workshops are part of ACPA’s improved Operator Safety Training and Certification Program, which launched in 2020. Driver Training Breakdown

Here at NBIS, we are constantly faced with questions from insured partners regarding their driver training programs. We field questions from everything related to frequency of training to types of driver training. Part of the reason for the variance in driver training approaches is a lack of clarity from regulatory bodies like the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Driver training rules and regulations offer only that training should be conducted and documented.
