Awards were presented during this year’s ACPA’s annual membership meeting held at World of Concrete on February 3, 2016. Nominations were requested for each category, and determined by the ACPA Awards Committee, consisting of Beth Langhauser, Carl Walker, Bob Weatherton and Dennis Andrews.
In conjunction with ACPA’s endorsed insurance provider NBIS Inc., ACPA now offers a webinar to help concrete pumpers, contractors and ready mix companies navigate the American Society of Mechanical Engineers’ new B30.27-2014 safety standard, An Introduction to ASME B30.27-2014 with Responsibilities Delineation.
A new form is available for ACPA members to facilitate the evaluation of an operator’s capability in operating a concrete pump. Located on the ACPA website in the members-only login section, the form can be downloaded, customized with company name and printed for easy use.
The ACPA recently elected new board members for regions 2, 4 and 6. Re-elected members include: Gary Brown, region 2 director; and Tony Inglese, region 4. New to the ACPA Board is Chris Pernicano, region 6 director.
