“Born to Pump” Cocktail Party

While the 1980s rock band Quiet Riot declared they were “born to rock,” we like to say our concrete pumpers are “born to pump.” Thus, “Born to Pump” was the motto for ACPA’s annual cocktail party kicking off World of Concrete. With a rollicking rock-and-roll theme, the party was held Tuesday, January 22 at the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel.

Special guests included impersonators of the band KISS, who entertained the crowd and performed some of KISS’s hit songs. Party-goers had the opportunity to take pictures with the platform shoe-wearing likenesses of Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley in the photo booth. To complete the rock-and-roll theme, attendees received tattoo sleeves, and a DJ got the crowd rocking with an upbeat playlist of rock songs.

A good time was had by the nearly 230 in attendance, which included ACPA members and other special guests. Thank you to everyone who made this night a great success!
