Bill Gleadall

We lost another friend of the pumping industry this week, Bill Gleadall of Norcon Concrete Pumping in Coldwater, Ontario, Canada.

Gleadall, William "Bill" - Passed away suddenly at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland on Friday, October 21, 2016 in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Laurie (Robertson). Cherished father of Matthew and Christopher (Eden). Stepfather of Jon Stark (Erin) and Cameron Stark (Lindsay). Loved "Pa" to Audrey and Everly Stark. Survived by his mother Shirley Gleadall, sister Jane (Harry Wanless), and brother Jim (Kari). Predeceased by his infant son Kevin and by his father Jim Gleadall. Will be remembered and missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill was the owner/operator of Norcon Concrete Pumping for the past 29 years and was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to spend time in the bush and at the family hunt camp. As a result he became a great mentor to many in the concrete industry, hunting life, minor hockey and in life in general. Bill shared a passion with his father and recently began travelling to steam shows with his antique steam engine. Bill left us too soon and he will be missed by all who knew him as he touched the lives of so many people through his generous and caring nature in all aspects of life. The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to all the emergency personnel that assisted at the house and as well to the staff at the emergency department at the Georgian Bay General Hospital.

Following cremation, the family will honor his life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME , Coldwater on Friday, November 4th from 2-4 & 6-9pm. A celebration of his life will be held at Bonaire Golf & Country Club, Coldwater on Saturday November 5th from 1-4pm, with a service at 2pm. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Bill may be made to Coldwater Minor Hockey. Friends are invited to send condolences to the family at www.coldwaterfuneralhome.com.

Please keep Bill’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
