Responding to increased demand for the company’s concrete equipment, Schwing America has hired a new vice president of operations, Arne King. “We are bringing increased efficiency to Schwing’s purchasing, quality control and manufacturing,” states Brian Hazelton, Schwing’s CEO, “with the end result being even higher standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.” King’s background lends itself to the job, having held similar positions at Pentair, manufacturers of pumping systems and WEIR mining equipment.
Putzmeister America, Inc. has promoted Jorge Reza to Latin America after sales parts and service manager, responsible for coordinating all aspects of parts sales, service, warranty, and training for Putzmeister’s Latin American and Central American distributors and customers.
In 1999, Reza started his career at Putzmeister in the paint department, transferring to the customer support group five years later. This year, he will celebrate 15 years at the company.
Schwing America has added a marketing analyst to their staff at company headquarters in White Bear, Minnesota. Glenn Donoghue joined Schwing after a stint as an intern that led to a marketing communications position at LiuGong Machinery, a 50-year old Chinese manufacturer of construction equipment. He spent three years at the company’s headquarters in Guangxi, China, providing support for trade shows, public relations, sales training and website development.
Putzmeister America, Inc. has named Dan Martin national sales manager for small line equipment. In the role, he will manage sales of Thom-Katt® trailer pumps, BSA trailer pumps, and mortar machines throughout North America.
With more than 20 years of experience in the concrete placing business, Martin previously worked at Putzmeister for eight years in multiple sales roles, before serving as a district sales manager for MMD Equipment. In his new role, he will report to Bill Dwyer, vice president of sales and marketing for Putzmeister.
