Putzmeister America is pleased to announce course offerings to our customers. All courses feature the added benefits of personalized classroom and hands-on training used for all Truck-Mounted Boom Pump course offerings. This format brings increased focus and added benefits to the customers, and will give our customers new tools in maintaining our product line of concrete pumps.

The Truck-Mounted Boom Pump Service Training is offered in two courses. We offer the pump operations course to operators needing training on proper operating procedures and pump maintenance and service. The course is for technicians who service and maintain boom pumps. In our desire to provide effective and timely service support to equipment with either the 12 or 24 volt systems, the courses are aligned with the end user in mind. To continue our commitment to the customer, the support documents have been expanded in a style that will increase the understanding of the customer of the equipment, as well as provide support documentation that may be referred to at a later date.

An additional benefit of the course format is users will be able to utilize these materials in a "self study" environment to enhance and expand their knowledge about the systems installed on the equipment. This will lead to higher confidence levels and increased performance due to improved system familiarity.

PMA Structural Inspection - 4 Days Each - 2 Courses

Focus: The first 4-day course (listed as Structural Inspection Course Part 1 on the events calendar) covers the techniques and procedures used to inspect Putzmeister America, Inc., (PMA) truck mounted boom pumps, Telebelts®, and stationary placing booms. The course consists of both classroom and hands-on training that provides the information needed to safely perform structural inspections on PMA equipment. The classroom training focuses on the visual inspection procedures used to identify structural issues such as cracks, component deformation, and worn or loose connections. The information presented during the classroom training is supplemented by two to three days of actual hands-on inspection procedure training on boom pumps, Telebelts®, and stationary placing booms. The structural inspection course includes a written and practical evaluation of each student to measure their knowledge on PMA inspection procedures. Following the initial structural training at our factory, each student is required to perform ten additional inspections.

The second 4-day course (listed as Structural Inspection Course Part 2 on the events calendar) is the customer physical inspection option. This course provides time to complete some of the ten additional inspections required, directly at the PMA facility with supervision.

Upon successful completion of the individual’s structural inspection training, each inspector is required to successfully complete an annual refresher course in order to maintain their status as a PMA trained structural inspector.
