Roundtable Description:

We Are Safer Together (WAST) brings heightened awareness to jobsite responsibilities of the concrete pumper, concrete contractor, ready mixed concrete personnel and all others involved in the placement of concrete with a concrete pump.  When each of the trades work together, we can better protect our workforce from injuries and fatalities.

This safety initiative is also a pumper’s greatest asset in educating our partners on how to prevent jobsite incidents that typically occur outside of a concrete pumper’s control such as; unknown jobsite soil conditions, allowing air or foreign objects in the hopper, and other situations that can disrupt the safety and success of a concrete pour with a pump.

In this next series of member roundtable topics, we’ll discuss all the resources the WAST campaign offers to help you educate your customers and suppliers of their responsibilities on the job with a pump.
