Canadian Concrete Pumpers - You're Invited!

In the Winter 2019 Issue of the Concrete Pumping Magazine, it was announced that the Concrete Pumping Association of Canada (CPAC) has merged with the ACPA to form an official Canadian chapter within the ACPA.

There are many tangible benefits to leveraging the infrastructure of the ACPA, yet still, some of the existing initiatives fall short of the specific needs of the Canadian pumper. This Canadian chapter within the ACPA will allow for the support of relevant ACPA initiatives, and also the formation of committees specific to our needs north of the border.

The merger solidifies the concrete pumping industry’s presence in the North American marketplace and brings increased visibility to concrete pumping across the borders.

Next week at the Canadian Concrete Expo, CPAC is hosting an information session to share background on the ACPA/CPAC, current “hot topics” including CSA Z151 (law vs. recommendation) and Pump Operator Certification in Western Canada (BC Readymix Certification Program), as well as what membership means to Canadian concrete pumpers.
