Event Description: 

This workshop begins the first stage of implementation in how the education requirement for ACPA Certification can be fulfilled and who will be authorized to deliver ACPA training and testing. Once the mandate officially takes effect, the ACPA education requirement and certification process will only be available by three methods:

• Training and certification administered by an ACPA ATA
• Online ClickSafety Training Program and ACPA online certification testing
• Attending an in-person ACPA Safety Training and Certification Testing seminar

Qualified individuals will learn how to deliver the ACPA Operator Safety Training Program and how to properly administer the ACPA Operator Certification Test. Individuals completing the course will earn designation as an ACPA Authorized Training Administrator (ATA) and will be able to give the presentation to their operators or others. Applicants do not necessarily need to be an expert on all aspects of the safety training material; however, they should be able to be a good communicator of the material content. Professional speaking experience is not required.
