SCHWING Appoints Jim Gilbert as Regional Sales Manager

SCHWING, leading manufacturer of concrete pumping and placement equipment, announced the appointment of Jim Gilbert as its regional sales manager. With a career spanning experience from the operator's platform to ownership and factory-level sales, Gilbert brings a comprehensive and customer-centric perspective to his new role.

Gilbert's deep industry knowledge was forged through hands-on experience. He began his career as a concrete pump operator, providing him with an intimate understanding of the equipment’s performance and reliability in demanding field conditions. He later leveraged this expertise to found and operate his own concrete equipment rental and sales business, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by contractors and rental companies.

His distinguished career also includes a role as a concrete specialist for Wacker Neuson Sales America, where he worked directly with the factory to support sales and develop product strategies. This was followed by successful sales and rental tenures with industry leaders H.O. Penn Caterpillar and Alta Equipment Co. for JCB equipment, further solidifying his reputation as a trusted advisor in the Northeast market.

In his new position, Gilbert will be responsible for leading sales initiatives, supporting the dealer network and driving market growth for SCHWING’s full line of concrete pumps and placer booms throughout the Northeast region.
