Liebherr USA, Co. Headquarters Opens at Expanded Campus

Liebherr USA, Co. marked a milestone on April 6, 2020—the company formally moved into a newly expanded campus in Newport News, Virginia. The facilities house employees who work in administration, finance, human resources, sales, information technology, marketing, product support and distribution for nine different product units under the Liebherr USA, Co. umbrella.

Schwing Aligns Parts and Service to “New Normal”

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Schwing America has made changes to parts and service departments to better serve the needs of the customer. Some call center employees are working from home with complete access to customer files and parts inventory to quickly provide information and support.

Phone calls are routed as usual, including to the phones of the home-based employees.. In-house call center employees have spread out their work areas to enforce social distancing guidelines. The Schwing call center remains open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. central time.

Mack Trucks' Customers Take Starring Role in 2021 Mack Calendar

The truck lineup for the 2021 Mack Trucks Calendar is set, after thousands of Mack fans cast their vote on Mack social channels to choose winners in six categories. Each winner will receive a professional photo shoot of their truck, courtesy of Mack, and will be featured in the upcoming 2021 Mack Calendar.

2019 Contractor Safety Award

At their annual installation of officers, the Engineering Contractors’ Association (ECA) awarded Doug Marquis of Conco Pumping with their Personal Safety Award. Doug was recognized for his exceptional work in the construction field forwarding worker safety. His achievements include working with equipment manufacturers to improve the safety of boom pump operators in 2018. He improved their safety by collaboratively developing systems to create tie-off points when working on boom pumps. The tie-off points aid in fall prevention and related injuries.

Liebherr’s 42 M5 XXT Concrete Pump and Powerbloc Hydraulic Drive Make Their U.S. Debut

Liebherr introduced a completely newly developed 42 M5 XXT truck-mounted concrete pump and the new Powerbloc drive unit to the U.S. market at the 2020 World of Concrete show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 42 M5 XXT is powerful, versatile and compact, allowing the machine to work easily at constricted job sites. And with the Powerbloc, Liebherr has, for the first time, created a product that combines the best features of open and closed hydraulic systems.

Concrete Pump Repair Redesigns Website to Enhance Customer Experience

Concrete Pump Repair (CPR) recently completed the redesign and rollout of its new website.

“The new site was built to be userfriendly with enhanced navigation and user experience,” said Jerry Anderson, vice president and general manager of Concrete Pump Repair. “It allows customers to access the extensive CPR pump inventory, expanded product and service offerings, and a before-and-after pump gallery.”

On the new Concretepumps.com, visitors will be able to order pump parts as well as determine the trade-in or resale value of their equipment.
