Putzmeister Hosts Open House at West Coast Facility

In early May, Putzmeister America, Inc. hosted an open house at its recently refreshed West Coast Customer Support Center located in Santa Fe Springs, California.

Guests were invited to tour the facility, meet the new onsite staff and see the expanded parts inventory. Tours included a visit to the Putzmeister service school classroom, where area operators can stay current by attending ACPA certification seminars and Putzmeister service school classes.

The facility’s parts inventory area, which includes spare parts, wear parts and accessories for the complete line of Putzmeister machines, as well as parts for other manufacturers’ equipment, was also included in the open house tour. Attendees had the opportunity to visit the shop where equipment is serviced inhouse by factory-certified technicians. Customers who cannot bring their equipment into the shop can contact the West Coast office to schedule an onsite visit from a Putzmeister field service technician.

Putzmeister’s service and training manager, Alan Woods, was on hand to provide expert advice to open house guests and share tricks of the trade with them. Guests were able to take classroom lessons home with them by means of the new boom pump Quick-Start video distributed during the event. The instructional video, narrated by Alan Woods, walks through boom pump setup, operation and maintenance.

“We enjoyed hosting members of the local concrete and material placement industry,” said Jorge Reza, West Coast branch manager. “Many told us they appreciated our facility updates. Everyone enjoyed the open house festivities, especially the taco truck!”

Putzmeister’s West Coast Customer Support Center is located at 13000 Arctic Circle. Its regular hours are Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The facility can be reached by telephone at (800) 581-3245.
