Adam Wallace Returns as Schwing Truck Mixer Regional Manager

Adam Wallace has returned to Schwing as west/central regional sales manager. Wallace originally joined Schwing in 2006 after graduating college and worked in ready mix equipment sales for the company. “It is with great pleasure that I return to a first class company that is also an industry leader,” according to Wallace.

After working at Schwing in his first stint, Wallace went on to work for admixture manufacturer WR Grace, selling the company’s wide range of products on the West Coast. Wallace expanded his equipment knowledge by joining Precision Machine and Manufacturing in Eugene, Oregon, selling rotary feeders used in the cement industry. Wallace rejoins Schwing in a territory that is familiar to him.

“It is great to see Schwing moving the industry forward with Schwing Control Technology,” says Wallace. “It really changes the way ready mix producers will do business.” The new Schwing control system, SCT™, lets truck mixer drivers control the entire drum operation with their fingertips. Easily-navigated touchscreens, a large-button touch-view console, rear-mounted backup camera, wireless remote, and the most intuitive interface available result in safer deliveries, better concrete and substantial savings.

Wallace is a graduate of the Middle Tennessee State University’s (MTSU) concrete industry management program. MTSU is the first university to integrate a technical education in concrete with business and communication skills needed to advance in the industry. Wallace currently resides in Bay City, Michigan with his wife and two children and is pursuing an MBA in MTSU’s concrete industry management program, while covering sales for Schwing in his territory.
