Marketing Analyst Joins Schwing Staff

Schwing America has added a marketing analyst to their staff at company headquarters in White Bear, Minnesota. Glenn Donoghue joined Schwing after a stint as an intern that led to a marketing communications position at LiuGong Machinery, a 50-year old Chinese manufacturer of construction equipment. He spent three years at the company’s headquarters in Guangxi, China, providing support for trade shows, public relations, sales training and website development.

In his previous position, Donoghue developed and implemented a quality control process on outgoing specifications and documents. He was also responsible for training over 600 staff in areas of product knowledge, principles of marketing, sales and business English. Donoghue is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

His experience in construction equipment started at an early age. His father was a sales and marketing executive with Case and Ingersoll-Rand. Glenn is a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in international business. He graduated magna cum laude.

“With the global reach of Schwing, Glenn adds an international element to our company while also bringing a solid marketing background,” explained Tom O’Malley, Schwing vice president, sales and marketing. Initial responsibilities for Donoghue include assisting with forecasts, sales tools and marketing materials.
