Train Your Inexperienced Concrete Pump Operators!

Developed by professional industry experts, the ACPA Operator Training Program is a 23-day program, which will guide you as you effectively train your new operators in the operation of concrete pumping. Your trainee will learn safe concrete pumping skills and practices whereupon after a successful completion of the program, your trainee will be designated a TRAINED PROFESSIONAL in the field of concrete pumping.

The trainer will work closely with the trainee following a day-by-day guide of topics, activities and hands-on demonstrations encompassing all areas of safe concrete pump operation and procedures. Beginning on Day 4, the trainee will be required to perform various concrete pumping tasks on the equipment they will most likely operate and will continue accumulating experience time until the end of Day 23. The trainer and trainee must attest to completion of each day’s activities and the trainer will evaluate the trainee on each day’s operation skills while also recording the trainee’s accumulated concrete pump operation experience time.

At the conclusion of the program, the trainee must demonstrate proficiency in all areas of concrete operation on the equipment they will be operating and must receive a minimum passing grade of 70% on the final exam.

The full-version ACPA Operator Training Program is required for the trainer to train one concrete pump operator.  For more operators, an additional-user program may be ordered at a cost of $130 (members) or $235 (non-members) per trainee.
